A few weeks ago when we were still in Florida we visited a state park to see manitees. We were lucky to see several but sadly they're not very easy to photograph. This brave armadillo was however and sauntered right past. I was surprised at how small it was - for some reason I expected them to be the size of a small dog but it was actually more like a large rabbit.
